Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior
GEMS is a fun dynamic program tailored for girls in grades 2 – 7.
With meetings scheduled every second Tuesday 6:30 – 8 pm (at the church), girls along with their counselors engage in group devotions, participate in small group discussions, and work on earning a variety of badges like baking, cake decorating, doll making, basketry and camping to name just few. They also enjoy fun activities, crafts and service projects.
The program’s primary goal is to help the girls develop a deep and meaningful relationship with God while fostering friendships and learning new skills.
CADETS
The Cadet program is for boys in grades 2 – 8.
Older boys can be junior counselors. It is like Scouts but with a Christian theme. Boys and their counselors engage in group chats about God’s will for their lives in devotion format, work to earn a variety of badges like geocaching, forestry, leathercraft, climbing and braiding to name just a few, and participate in group events with other clubs in Central Alberta like cub car races and camporees.
This program runs the first and third Tuesday of every month at the church with some events on weekends. All boys are welcome!
